Uddrag
One of the main challenges for today’s manufacturers of fast fashion is society’s demand for more sustainable and “earth friendly” approach to their business.

As stated in text 5, Brands & Social Activism: “70% of Americans believe companies have an obligation to take actions to improve issues that may not be relevant to their everyday business” which means that consumers want brands and companies to be more socially responsible.

We can also read that 76% of millennials are willing to do research that guarantees that a brans or business efforts are authentic.

The populations demand for more sustainable clothing comes from social media, who are showing and explaining the consumers about the horrible condition garment workers work in and how bad the earth is polluted by the fashion industry.
